The permanent GPS station PULK (DOMES 12305M001) was established at Pulkovo Observatory on 22 April 2002 in cooperation
with NAVGEOCOM Co.
Initially, Trimble 4000SSE receiver was installed at the station.
Since 1 September 2006 Trimble 4000SSI receiver and Trimble Zephyr Geodetic antenna with Stealth ground plane
(TRM41249.00) without radome are used.
In May 2008, Pulkovo GPS station became an EPN station PULK. Both hourly and daily data are delivered to EPN data centers. On 21 July 2010 ECCOSORB VHP microwave absorber was installed beneath the antenna. |

Data are processed using the GIPSY-OASIS v.6.0 software developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Daily PULK station position, as well as other selected station of the region, are computed in the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) mode using orbits, clocks, EOP, and antenna absolute phase center corrections provided by the JPL ftp service.
Ocean loading is computed using data obtained from the OSO ocean tide loading provider. FES2004 model is currently used.
The latest estimate of the PULK position and velocity in the IGS08 system is the following (geodetic coordinates are given with respect to the WGS84 ellipsoid):
| Number of daily estimates: 3393 | ||
| Position epoch: 2007.226 | ||
| X = 2778606.767 m | VX = -19.35 mm/yr | |
| Y = 1625494.702 m | VY = 13.53 mm/yr | |
| Z = 5487810.994 m | VZ = 6.58 mm/yr | |
| B = 59° 46' 18"6205 | VN = 11.84 mm/yr | |
| L = 30° 19' 40"0217 | VE = 21.44 mm/yr | |
| H = 101.160 m | VH = 0.72 mm/yr |
PULK station position variations (daily estimates after removing the velocities given above) are presented in the plot. Vertical bars show 1σ errors in position estimates. Average uncertainties of daily position are σN = 1.7 mm, σE = 1.1 mm, σH = 2.3 mm.
